pub in the Corpus Christi, TX, Caller-Times on Friday Aug 22, 1941 - ELDIRGE ADAIR - BEEVILLE - Funeral services for Eldrige S. Adair, 47, well-known Beeville resident and WWI veteran, will be held Friday afternoon at the family home here with the Rev. R.G.Stocker, pastor of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and the Rev. Sam B. Hill, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Victoria, officiating. Burial will be at St. Josephs Cemetery here. Adair died Thursday morning following a heart attack. He had been a rancher but was later employed by Union Producing Co, here. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lily(sic) Adair; 2 sons, Eldridge (sic)Marsden and Allen Carter; a sister, Mrs Lessie Troy; and 2 brothers, M. P. Adair and Bryan Adair, all of Beeville.
