He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sara F. Moore and Faye Adcock Berkeypile; and two brothers, Joe Adcock and Jim Adcock.
He was owner and operator of Adcock Pecans and the Magnolia Plantation and president of Sunbelt Plantations, Inc. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelor of science degree and was a member of the VFW and the Tifton Elks Lodge.
He served as a captain in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II and was a licensed Ham Radio operator, W4F00.
Mr. Adcock is survived by his wife, Edith Sandifer Adcock;
two sons and a daughter-in-law:
Jim and Cathy Adcock
Neal Adcock;
a daughter and son-in-law:
Anne and Mace Johnson;
two brothers,
Donald Adcock
Robert Adcock;
seven grandchildren,
Clint Adcock, Jessica Smith, Chloe Adcock, Taylor Smith, Hillary Smith, Reede Johnson and Banks Johnson;
and a great-grandchild, Liam Noland.
