Frank Needs, 80 Dies In Rest Home
SYCAMORE – Frank Needs, 80, of Rt. 4, Upper Sandusky, Eden Township, Wyandot County, died at 8:30 a.m. today at Riverside Rest Home, ear Tiffin, where he had been a patient for two and a half years. He had been in failing health two years, serious the last two and a half months. He died of pneumonia.
Born in Tymochtee Township, Wyandot County, July 26, 1898, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Brown) Needs.
His marriage to the former Leese Grummel took place Aug. 11, 1912; she preceded him in death April 2, 1931. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Elizabeth) Althouse, of Rt. 4, Upper Sandusky, two grandchildren, Richard of near Upper Sandusky and James of Marion, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services at Moore Funeral Home will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Joseph Slagle officiating. Burial is to be made in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, west of Sycamore.
Calling hours at the funeral home start at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
