I have seen two diff birthdates for William. The other states he was born 1801 NC. He lived in Mecklenburg, NC. Moved to Wright, Webster Co, MO. Was on the MO census in 1870. Died sometime before 1880. Married to Elizabeth Peck Dec 9 1830 in Jefferson Co TN. She was born 1801 TN. They had a son named William Pleasant Cunningham Jr. He was born 1832 in TN and killed by bushwhackers in MO, May 17, 1863. They had a daughter, Margaret b 1834 TN, who married someone surnamed Butcher. William Sr had a brother named Annanias. They had a son, James b 1836 TN. They had a son Annanais born abt 1838 TN. Don't yet know when this family moved to MO or dates of death.
