Masonic services for Charles H. Newcom, 81, of Vashon Island will be held at 10 o’clock Monday in the Forkner chapel. Cremation will follow.
Mr. Newcom died Monday at his home. He was a retired meatcutter and a life member of Local 81, Meatcutters'’ Union. He had been a member of Seattle Aerie No. 1, Eagles for 25 years and was a long-time member of Ravenna Lodge No 275, F. & A. M.
Mr. Newcom, born in Pennsylvania, came here in 1903 from Kansas. He moved to Vashon Island two years ago.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Grace Kutnink, Moundridge, Kas.; three sisters, and a granddaughter.
