Daughter of the late Melanie Bergeron Descant and Albert H. Descant. Grandmother of Laura M. Leblanc, John R Muller, Jr., William O. Kraus, IV, Jason Edward Kraus and the late Geri M. Bulot. Great-grandmother of Eric Bulot, and the late Christopher and Danielle Bulot. Mother-in-law of John R. 'Jack' Muller, Sam A. Bella, Jr. and Marcia T. Kraus. Sister of Anna Descant Kelvin [sic Kevlin], Eddie Descant, Elday Descant Latiolais, Pete Descant, Lee Descant, and the late Edison Descant and Ena Descant Sonnier. A native of Cottonport, La. and a resident of Chalmette for 53 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2300 Paris Road, Chalmette, on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation at the church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
