Mrs. Robert H. Martin passed away at her home in Fulton at 11:30 o'clock on Monday, January 14, 1935, at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 14 days. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 16, at 2 p. m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fobian Benson, conducted by Rev. Fred H. Ray. Musical selections were given by Mr. Munsen, with Miss Darlene Blumenberg accompanist. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery, the pall bearers being George Anderson, Bert Thomas, Harry Allbee, Frank Burke, W. Wilson and Anton Kegoski.

Emma Permelia Owens was born at Fennimore, Wis., July 31, 1855. She was united in marriage with Robert H. Martin July 25, 1884, the husband passing away Sept. 3, 1933. She was the mother of five children, four dying in infancy, one daughter, Mrs. Fobian Benson, surviving. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two sisters - Mrs. B. M. Martin, Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. C. K. Brown, Spokane, Washington.

Mrs. Martin became a member of the Congregational church at Darlington, Wis. many years ago, and was a member of Pearl City Rebekah lodge of Darlington for 30 years. Mrs. Martin was always devoted to her home. She had many friends in Fulton and vicinity, who will extend sympathy to those who mourn her departure.
