Ralph L. Johnson, 80, of Hahira, died at his home on Saturday, November 12, 2011 after a short illness. Born on May 10, 1931, in Tennille, Washington County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Harvey and Nannie Lou Dye Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a U.S. Army veteran and he was retired from Tillman Body Shop. He was a member of St. Augustine Church of Christ.

Survivors are his wife, Nella Faye Johnson of Hahira; daughters, Wanda (William) Hamm of Lake Park, Missy (Tracy) Hurst of Nashville, sons, Jeff (Linda) Johnson of Hahira, Danny (Tammy) Johnson of Lake Park; seven grandsons, five granddaughters and eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Smith of Macon and Nancy (Herschell) Bray of Wrightsville. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Annie Ruth Harris of Plant City, Florida, Alice Page of Auburndale, Florida, Jean Manchester of Plant City, Florida, and his brothers, Edwin Johnson, Hal Johnson and James (Red) Johnson all of Macon.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Mr. DeLand Guthrie will officiate. Burial will follow at Dasher Cemetery.
