Mr. Calfee was born at the old family homeplace in Wythe County and related widely in this section.
HP is survived by his widow. Mrs. Janie Peterson Calfee; four sons. Robert, of Radford and James R. Calfee, of Kingsport; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Sayers and Mrs. Jessie Sayers, of Wythe county and two brothers, A. K. Calfee, of Roanoke and W. Wyatt Calfee, of Pulaski.
Funeral services will be held from the Radford Methodist church at 2 30 o'clock Thursday. Burial will be in Sunrise cemetery, Radford. Mr. Calfee had been a member of the Pulaski Elks lodge for a number of years and C. C. Jordan, secretary of the organization, today asked that as many members as possible attend the service Thursday.
