Carsie Russaw Davis Wallace was born in Humble, Texas, May 17, 1905 to Douglas and Lougenia Davis. The family moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma where she completed her primary and secondary education. Later, she moved to Tulsa where she met and married Robert Wallace. To this union was born three children. Eldest son, John Weldon Wallace and sister Tillie Davis, preceded her in death.

Carsie united with Vernone AME Church in
April 1942, Rev. J. S. Johnson, Pastor. She was a faithful member for 49 years where she was active in the Vanguard and served on the Stewardess Board until her health began to fail.

Sister Wallace was called home on Friday, February 1, 1991. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory a loving husband, Robert; daughter, Robie Siamwiza, Lusaka, Zambia; son, Calvin R. Wallace, Sr., Lexington, Kentucky; sister, Vivian Harbert, Lawton, Oklahoma, brothers, Jonathan and Johnny Davis, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Honoray Davis, Kansas City, Missouri; granddaughters Carsie Arlene and Mwinde Siamwiza, Lusaka, Zambia; Jaina Wallace, and Alva Robinson, Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandsons John, Jr., Craig, Phillip and Russell Wallace, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kalonga and Joey Siamwiza, Lusaka, Zambia; daughter-in-law, Stella Gunnells Wallace, Lexington, Kentucky; son-in-law, Dr. Mwindaace Siamwiza, Lusaka, Zambia; nine great grandchildren, and a host of reltives and friends.
