Her marriage was to Defoe Coonrod on Oct. 21, 1934, in Rensselaer, and he preceded her in death on June 5, 1985.
Mrs. Coonrod was a homemaker. She was a 75-year member of Liberty Homemakers, a member of and Sunday school teacher for Buffalo Christian Church for many years and recently had been attending Monticello Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching sports, traveling, cooking and playing cards, especially euchre.
