Frances Browne Ludwick, 94, of Winchester went to join family and friends who have passed before her, Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

She was born May 22, 1915 in Randolph County to Francis M. and Nellie E. (Davis) Browne. She was a 1933 graduate of McKinley High School. She retired from Anchor Hocking Glass as a bookkeeper. Frances attended the First United Methodist Church in Winchester and was a member of the United Methodist Women, and a 50-year member of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She was also an avid Winchester boys and girls varsity basketball fan.

Survivors include four nieces, Carol Short of Winchester, Elaine (husband David) Burgauer of Farmland, Judi (husband Jeff) Servies of Warsaw and Marsha Cockerill of Winchester; eight great nieces; two great nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy R. Ludwick; and two brothers, Donal and Gerald Browne.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, with Pastor Mark Need officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery.
