Claud E Litteral, age 90, of 421 North East New River Drive, Fort Lauderdale, passed away Sunday at his residence. Mr. Litteral came to Fort Lauderdale 49 years ago from Chicago, Illinois. A member of the First Baptist Church, Life Member of BPO Elks, No. 1517, Life member of the Kosair Shrine Temple, Louisville, Kentucky, San Jacinto, Chapter No. 1, Sons of the Republic of Texas. Mr. Litteral's grandfather, Captain Thomas Barron was one of the first captains of the Texas Rangers. Survived by his wife Loral Litteral, Fort Lauderdale and sister, Mrs. Carrie Jennings of Waco, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fannin Funeral Home with the Rev William M Hinson officiating, entombment in Lauderdale Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday. The family suggests contributions be made to the First Baptist Church building fund.
