Paula Sue Trahan, 57, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at Cypress Glenn Nursing Home after her brave battle with cancer.

Paula was born December 16, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to Joe Walton Swink and Lillian Hamilton Swink. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Allen Trahan; her mother, Lillian Hope Hamilton Swink; and her brother, Gary Swink.

Paula is survived by her father, Joe Swink and step-mother, Audrey Swink; four daughters, Leah Trahan, Shanon Hughes and husband John, Cathy Falb and husband Ron, Jennifer Davis and husband Vince; two sons, Cory Sutton and wife Kristi, and Christopher Sutton; two brothers, Mike Swink and wife Beverly, and Phillip Pierce; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Mark Lutheran Church with Reverend Paul Zock officiating.
