Cyrus Laird, 68, Dead: Store Traffice Manager
Cyrus C Laird, 68 of 235 Highland Avenue, traffice manager for the Nevius-Voorhees Company for 35 years, died last night after a short illness at his home. He was the husband of Mrs. Matilda Miller Laird and son of the late James R and Alice Laird.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ida May Hazlett; a son, Thomas M; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Mager, Mrs. Emma Pasco, Mrs. Elsie Speicher and Mrs. George Keuney, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 O'Clock from the Poulson & VanHise Home for Services, 408 Bellevue Avenue. The Rev. Leon L. Blackman of Cadwalader Heights Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening.
