He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Annie Bower Gardner of Pulaski County; one brother, Ed Bower of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. W. B. Hines, of Radford; three step-brothers, Leonard Gardner of Fairlawn; Leo and Culver Gardner of Floyd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home by the Rev. J. Robert Smith. Burial will be in Sunrise Burial Park The body is at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Active pallbearers will be Marvin Graham, Marvin Mathena, Joe Hill, Eugene Gravely, Douglas Gravely, and Herman Ratcliffe.
