CHAMPAIGN - Robert L. Ducey, 73, of Champaign died Wednesday (Feb. 19, 2003) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Private services will be at a later date.

Mittendorf-Calvert Funeral Home, 2400 Galen Drive, C, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ducey was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Urbana, a son of Leo A. and Mary L. Kelley Ducey.

Survivors include a son, Scott R. Ducey of Champaign; a daughter, Lynn M Bazarnic of Seattle; a brother, William L. Ducey of Champaign; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Ducey attended the University of Illinois for three years. He served in the Army in the Far East from 1951 to 1953.

He was a president of the former University Federal Bank.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
