Born March 11, 1911 in Clark Township, Montgomery County, he was the son of Wilburn Sr. and Merttie (Powers) Long.
A retire farmer, he was a member of Haw Creek Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sisters, Lois Jane Long, Ladoga, and Alma Burkhart, Troy, Ohio; two brothers, Elvin P. Long, Ladoga, and Joseph Long, New Market; and aunt and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charles Long, Wilburn Long Jr., and Virgil Long.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Services and Morgan Funeral Home, Lagoda. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
