Emmett ALDERSON, 65, of State Street, died in the Memorial Hospital Saturday night, following a three months' illness. Born in Fancher (hamlet, town of Murray, Orleans Co.) in March 1883 he was the son of the late Robert and Juvinelia STEWART ALDERSON. For over forty years Mr. ALDERSON was a resident of Medina, and was employed at the Buffalo Niagara Electric Co., from which company he was scheduled to retire on March 24, when he was taken ill. A member of the First Baptist Church, he had served as deacon of the church and on the Advisory Board for many years. He was a member of Medina Lodge I.O.O.F.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mable WHEELER ALDERSON; two daughters, Mrs. Meth BURKE and Mrs. Howard BENZ; one son, Frederick ALDERSON; and three grandchildren, all of Medina; also two brothers, Stewart ALDERSON of Medina and Ernest ALDERSON of Lockport.
