•Obituary-Willard L. Copeland, 75 of 607 E. 6th Street, died at 5 o'clock last evening at Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was a retired employee of the Ball Brothers Company. Mr. Copeland had lived in Muncie for thirty-nine years and was employed by the Ball Brothers Company for thirty years.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Minerva Copeland; two sons, Warren Copeland of Jackson, MI and Harry E. Copeland; two sisters, Mrs. Otis Hormel of Kokomo and Mrs. James Creighton of Straughan, and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Meeks Mortuary at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Friday. Rev. Slocum of Muncie is in charge of services.
