Son of Elias Bissey and Anna Weische. Married Saloma Hershey on 13 JAN 1870 in Whiteside County, Illinois.

Bissey - Abraham Bissey was born in Bucks Co, Pa, Feb. 22, 1841; died in his home near Cherry Box, Mo, April 1, 1925; aged 84 y, 1 m, 8 d.

He was united in marriage to Saloma Hershey of Whiteside Co, Ill. Jan 13, 1870. In 1871 they moved to Shelby Co, Mo. where they lived until the time of his departure. To this union where born 5 children one of whom preceded him to the spirit world. The others are; Elias, Ida Swartzendruber, Annie Yoder, and George, living on the home place.

He is also survived by one sister, two brothers, 13 grandchildren. Two daughters and one son were at the funeral besides many relatives and friends.

He was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held at Mt. Pisgah Church on April 2, by Bro J M Kreider of Palmyra, Mo.
