Evelyn passed away Oct. 28, 2001. She had struggled with Alzheimer's for several years. She was born to William F. Madden and Rillie Bell on June 6, 1907 in Edison, GA.

She moved from Orlando, FL to the Tacoma area with husband John Airheart and son Robert in 1945. She worked in the local shipyard and later owned a chicken and a mink ranch in the Bethel area. Her hobbies were Real Estate, fixer houses and apartments.

Evelyn loved ballroom dancing and wintering in Phoenix and Sun City, AZ. She was a member of the Sales and later Waller Rd Grange and the John Birch Society.

She was preceded in death by her son Robert Airheart in 1960 and husband John Airheart in 1963, her sisters Mary and Kathleen, brothers Herbert and Louis. After 18 years of single life she married Norman Godfrey, who survives her. She also leaves relatives in Bainbridge, GA and other locations.

At Evelyns' request there will be no funeral services and her remains will join John and Robert Airheart in Mt. View Mausoleum, Communion #2 Niches. Many thanks to Jeanette Derhiem and to the Doctors and nursing staff at Allenmore Hospital for her recent care.
