THORP - Bernard Buss, 80, of Thorp, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
He was born April 16, 1924, in the town of Reseberg, to Albert and Ida "Edith" (Gorsegner) Buss.
Bernard and Linda Huberty were married on June 30, 1945. They farmed in the town of Reseberg until 1976 and then moved to Owen where he worked for Master Packaging. The couple moved to Thorp in 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Buss of Thorp; his children, Bill (Judy) Buss, Thorp, Jim (Karen) Buss, Cottage Grove, Minn., Marvin Buss and Sandy Buss, both of Roberts; a sister, Ruby Buss, Thorp; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
