She was born on August 29, 1927, in Eufaula, the daughter of Jonas C. and Maud (Pollard) Willmon. Winnie graduated from Eufaula High School. On July 6, 1943, Winnie married Troy Smithee in Muskogee. She worked at the Worthen Department Store. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Service will be graveside at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, OK.
