Services for Ora S. Maple, 79, 128 Wall Ave., who died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday at a local nursing home after an illness of three months, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary. The Rev William Henderson will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Wilbert Davis, Robert Bellis, Ralph Brown, Harold Thomason, Fred Thomas and Marvin Page will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Maple was born June 26, 1904, at Maquon, Ill., and had lived in Joplin most of his life.

He worked in the vital records department of Sperry-Vickers for 14 years, and previously had worked for National Cash Register Co., Watts paint Store and Firestone Tire Company.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church, where he was active in the Methodist Mens' Organization and also served as a lay miniser (sic).

He served with Economic Security Corporation, and was a former member of Joplin Kiwanis Club and the Izaac Walton League.

His wife, Vera Maple, died March 17. 1974.

There are no immediate survivors.
