Russell Curry, a resident of this city for several years, passed away after a several weeks' illness, aged 73. He was born in Morgan county, Ohio, May 16, 1837. In the spring of 1861 he moved to Bloomingdale, this county, and there in a little log house, long since replaced by a more elegant structure, he met Martha Ann Griffin, and on Nov. 3rd of that year they were united in marriage by Rev. G. W. Nuzum of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Curry were the parents of six children, three dying in infancy and a married daughter, Mrs. Daines, passing away six years ago. Two sons, Albert of Valley, and John of Albemnas, with his wife and two brothers and one sister still in Ohio, are the remaining near relatives. Bernard and Frances Daines, grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Curry, made their home with them. Mr. Curry moved here from Sugar Grove five years ago. For several years he has been troubled with Bright's disease, and last May his condition became aggravated.

Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday morning and interment was in the Bloomingdale cemetery.
