Roland L. Goelzer, 71, of 27 Selma St., Plymouth, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home today. He was born June 8, 1890 in the town of Plymouth, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Goelzer. He attended schools in Plymouth and on Nov. 28, 1913, he married Erna Kammerer. The couple farmed in the town of Plymouth until 1946 when they moved to Plymouth where he was employed at the S & R Cheese Corporation. He retired in 1956. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Plymouth.
Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Gus (Delores) Wolrath, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Harley (LaVernabelle) Barnery, Appleton, three grandchildren and two brothers, Conrad of Plymouth and Arno, Town of Sheboygan Falls. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran church, Plymouth. The Rev. G. A Karpinsky, associate pastor will officiate and burial will be in the Plymouth Union Cemetery.
