He had been in declining health for several years. He was a native of Baltimore county, the son of the late Arthur H. and Bertie Howard Sullivan. He was owner and operator of Sullivan Trailer Court, Sandymount and for a number of years was salesman for Standard American Home Foods.
He was a veteran of the Navy in World War II., a member of Sandymount United Methodist Church, the Reese and Community Volunteer Fire Company, Roaring Run Lions Club and Carroll Post #31 American Legion..
Surviving him are his wife, Emma Milker Sullivan and a son and a daughter, Arthur H. Sullivan III., Hook road, Westminster, and Mrs. Shirley Bittner, Baltimore. Also two grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Hugh Morrison, Towson, and Mrs. Lawrence Ensor, Baltimore survive him.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Myers funeral Home, Westminster. His pastor, the Rev. William R. Boyer, officiated and burial was in Sandymount Cemetery.
