Mrs. Mary Ruth Morrow, 66, of Kahoka, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Lasley Nursing Home in Jacksonville, Ill.
She was born Nov. 25, 1903 in Adair county, Mo., a daughter of Joseph and Mary McKittrick Billington. On May 14, 1955, she was married to James G. Morrow, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Margaret Bowen of Bowling Green, Mo., two step daughters, Mrs. Opal Darlene Witzstein, Arvada, Colo., and Mrs. Mary Ann Limkeman, Hamilton, Ill., one stepson, James Leonard Morrow of Colorado, one brother, Verney Billington, Berryville, Ark., two sisters, Ruby Lasley of Jacksonville, Ill., and Mrs. Goldie Walker, Kahoka, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, May 25, 1970 at 2 p.m. at Karle-Shaffer Funeral Home. Burial in Kahoka Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cress Bair, Robert Brammer, Ray Morgan, Robert McPherson, J.M. Harrison and Frank Shaffer. Organist-Margaret Davis.
