Jesse Daniel Wayne Ross, 18, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away unexpectedly at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1993 in Burlington, IA to Danny R. & Janice "Lou" K. Morris Ross. He was a senior at Fort Madison High School and worked at Baxter Construction Company in Fort Madison. He played football, basketball, baseball & ran track for Fort Madison High School. He was also an avid badminton player and participated in numerous local activities. He volunteered as a youth coach for many community activities and was an avid Hawkeye and Miami fan. He was very lighthearted and cared about everybody he came across.
Jesse is survived by: his parents: Danny & Janice "Lou" Ross of Fort Madison, IA; 2-sisters: Jolene (Josh) Dilks of Fort Madison, IA & Justyne Ross of Nauvoo, IL; his paternal grandmother: Beverly Lemon of Fort Madison, IA; his paternal great grandfather: Howard (Patty) Ross of Fort Madison, IA and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and his paternal step grandfather: Fred Lemon.
Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison, Iowa.
