Eva Wallace, 94, of Tylertown, died February 28, 1998, at Billdora Nursing Home.
Visitation if 4-10 tonight at Powells Grove Pentecostal Church, where she was a member, and continues there at 8 a.m. Tuesday until services at 3 p.m. The Rev. Glenn Ray Travis and the Rev. Terry Ballard will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery. Catching Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wallace was born February 28, 1903, in Jayess. She was the daughter of Allen Alexander, Sr. and Salissie Rayborn Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Wallace; her stepmother Bertha Alexander; on son, Watson Mulford; and one stepson, Delece Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by one daughter, Olline Welch of Ashtown, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Eunice Spence of the Salem community; three brothers, Allen "Son" Alexander, Jr., Carl Alexander and Daniel Alexander, all of Pricedale; two sisters, Modena Bowman of McComb and Wilma Dunaway of Pricedale; five grandchildren; and number of great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
