Lige J. Teffeteller age 57 of Maryville passed away, Monday, February 18, 2008. He was a deacon at Gospel Temple Baptist Church and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He received
the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Vietnamese Service Medal. He was employed at Alcoa Aluminum Company for 34 years. He was preceded in death by father, Richard Teffetellar; brother, Lee Henry Teffeteller; nephew, Roy Lee Ledbetter; brother in law, Ronnie McGill.
Survivors include wife of 35 years Anna Teffeteller; son, and daughter in law, Lige Jr. and Amanda Teffeteller; son, Samuel Kayden Hensley; daughters, Susan Teffeteller and Ayslyn Raynell Inman; mother, Virdie Hall; grandchildren, Savannah and Alec Teffeteller; brothers and sisters in law, James and Mary Hatcher, Johnny and Sandy Teffeteller; sisters and brothers in law, Mary Ann and Kenny Ledbetter, Susie and Leroy Chapman, Hazel and Charlie Perry; sister, Bonnie McGill all of Maryville; special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Gospel Temple Baptist Church, Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Joe Cantrell officiating. Interment service 2:00 PM Thursday at Russell Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Gospel Temple Baptist Church.
