She was born August 11, 1895, in Antioch, Clark County, MO, daughter of William H. and Margaret McLaughlin Elwell.
She was a graduate of the Kahoka High School. She married Walter White May 19, 1926, who preceded her in death November 29, 1932.
She married John William (Bill) Suter April 5, 1942. He died two weeks ago (January 9).
Surviving are one brother, Elmer Elwell of Keokuk; three Step children, Mrs. Herbert Jenkins of Kahoka; Mrs. William G. Habicht of Waco, Texas, and Busey Suter of Denver, Colo.
For a number of years, Mrs. Suter had a millinery store in Kahoka, and later clerked sales in the county. She was a member of the B and P.W. club.
The funeral services were held Wednesday in St. Michael's Catholic church in Kahoka, with the Rev. Anthony Kello officiating.
Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery.
