Mrs. J.W. Stalsworth died at 11:20 a.m. yesterday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Estes Boles; 1503 Martin Mill Pike. She was the former Miss Mae Davenport, of Knoxville, but the family had lived in Dallas, Texas for several years. Surviving are her husband; a son Billy, and three brothers, R. E. Davenport of Duff, Tenn and T. W. and W. A. Davenport of Knoxville in addition to the sister, Mrs. Boles.

Funeral arrangements await the coming of her husband and son, now enroute from Dallas, where Mr. Stalsworth was employed by the Texas Daily Press League. For years he was employed by The News-Sentinel. The body is at Berry Funeral Home.
