Henry Elder Hoosier(Hooser) is the son of Eli Hoosier(Hooser) & Margaret Almeda Stowers Hoosier(Hooser).
His first wife was Ella Mae Lovejoy Hoosier, his second wife was Alta Mae Morgan.

Henry E. Hoosier Henry Elder Hoosier, 86, Coal Mountain died Friday in Mann hospital. Death was attributed to natural causes. Born April 28, 1890, in Wayne County, he was a son of the late Eli and Almeda Stratton Hoosier and was a retired coal miner. His wife, Alta Mae Morgan Hoosier, preceded him in death in 1974. Surviving are three sons, Isaac, Ikes Fork. Peter, Coal Mountain. Thomas, Glen Fork; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Hayes, Uniontown Pa., Mrs. Vonnie Lovejoy, Hamlin, Mrs. Almeda Hatfield and Mrs. Joann Browning, both of Coal Mountain; a sister, Mrs. Nannie Browning, Barnabus, and 49 grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Freewill Baptist Church at Coal Mountain with the Revs. Rice Browning and Clarence Fortner officiating. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. The body will be taken to the church from Evans and Evans Funeral Directors, Oceana, at 4pm today.
