Mrs. Mary Donaghy.
Mrs. Mary Donaghy died at her home on Main street Tuesday, Oct. 1, after an illness of only a few hours following a partial shock.

Mary Marshall was born in Inverness, P. Q., 66 years ago, the daughter of William and Jane Davidson Marshall. Her early life was spent in Inverness.

Forty-nine years ago she was married to John A. Donaghy of Halifax, P. Q., where most of their married life was spent. Five children were born to them: Lizzie (Mrs. Alex. Burke) of Mclndoe, Bertha (Mrs. Joseph Thompson) of St. Johnsbury, Beatrice (Mrs. Perley Bonett) also of St. Johnsbury; Harvey Donaghy of Concord and Lewis Donaghy of St. Johnsbury, all of whom with 17 grandchildren survive her. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, who reside in Canada. Her husband died at Concord April 13, 1915.

Funeral services were held on Thursday with a prayer at her home by Rev. George A. Martin, and conducted at the Methodist church in Concord by Rev. George Smith. Interment was in the lot at Concord beside her husband.
