Mashantucket – On Friday, September 30, 2011 at 6:37 p.m. at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London, Ct. God called his servant home, Joseph "Tiny Joe" Eleazer. He was born April 18, 1934 in New London, Ct. to the late Helen Williams Brown, adopted and raised by the late Lulu Brown and Reginald E. Eleazer. He was 77.
Tiny Joe was an accomplished Jazz vocalist and sang with many of music history's biggest names in many venues across the country including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hartford and Mashantucket. He started singing in church at the early age of 6.

Tiny Joe was an Elder of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and is survived by many Tribal family members of the Pequot and Narragansett Tribal Nations and caring friends.

On Wednesday, October 5th, a viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mashantucket Pequot Burial Ground. There will be a reception at the Tribal Community Center located at 2 Matt's Path following the burial service.
