POOLE -- In Crawford township, on Thursday, October 15, 1874, of tonsillitis, Ida S., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Poole, aged 11 years and 20 days.

It is said that Death loves a shining mark. In this instance, one of the brightest and most happy-hearted children was carried off. Ida was loved and admired by all who know her, and will be sadly missed from the circle of home and by her school mates.
