POPULAR BRIDGEPORT GIRL MARRIES A LINCOLN MAN

Bridgeport friends of the bride were much surprised this week, when announcement was received from Mr. and Mrs. W.S.B. Pirie, announcing the marriage of their daughter Dorothy, to Clyde LaVerne (sic) Allen, of Lincoln, which ceremony was performed on May 22 at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Allen, 3245 R street (sic), Lincoln.

Mrs. Allen was a popular young lady in Bridgeport while living with her parents here, and has been a student at the university in Lincoln, where she met her present husband. She has a large circle of friends here who will extend congratulations, believing that the man of her choice is worthy of her, in every way.

The announcement says that the young couple will live with his parents in Lincoln until Mrs. Allen complete her University course.
