Joseph L.(Joe)Allen 85 of Tina Missouri died October 3, 1999 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital In Carrollton, Mo.

Mr Allen was born September 17, 1914 in Exline Mo the son of Bert and Ivona Vincent Allen. He had lived in the Carroll County area most of his lefe. He worked for many years as a supervisior for Intrusion Prepak, a bridge construction company. He later owned and operated a farm near Tina.
He was a member of the Bogard Baptist Church, On July 7, 1934 he was married to Helen L. Austin in Brunswick, Mo she survives of the home.

Other survivors include; a son, Danny Joe Allen, and wife Virginia of Tina Mo. a daughter, Rosalie Hedrick and husband Kenneth of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Davie Jo Allen and wife Denise, Carrollton; Jason Hedrick,of Carrollton; and Kynetta Blankenshio and husband Larry of Bogard Mo. eight great grandchildren; Darcy, Dylan and Delaney Allen, B.J. and Kira Hedrick and Taira, Brice, and Katana Blankenship; one brotherinlaw, Roy Henderson; one niece and several nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Parlee Henderson, one brother Floyd Allen, and one granddaughter, Donna Jo Allen.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bruce Trussell at 3p.m. Tuesday October 5, 1999, at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton. Burial was in Coloma Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Mr Allen.
