Agnes K. (Dot) Owensby ,84, of Swannanoa, entered into eternal rest on Sunday November 6th 2011 with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband John Perman Owensby. Agnes is survived by 7 children, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 8th from 6pm until 7:30 pm in the chapel of Brigman's Funeral Service; the funeral will begin following the visitation at the funeral home, Rev. Bruce Robinson, Rev B. P. Boyle and Rev. Ronnie Owensby will be officiating. Burial will be at 2pm on Wednesday at the Western Carolina State Veteran Cemetery.
