Walter Murray was the beloved husband of Evalyn [Sanford] Murray, and the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was born in 1916 in Bay City, Michigan. He married Evalyn on Jan. 26, 1945. Walter was kind, loving, generous, and fun-loving. As one of his nieces, I have many happy memories of times spent with him and Evie. He had a nice singing voice and would sing in the shower and also while driving along on our way somewhere with him and Ev. "Jeepers Creepers, Where'd You Get those Peepers?" sticks in my memory and to tease Ev he'd sing "Please Release Me, Let Me Go". He was a sweetheart of a guy and a real blessing in my life.
