Mrs. Anna N. Apley, 78, died at her home on Ottumwa route 5 Tuesday at 10:30 PM. She was the daughter of William and Margaret Bull and was born at Mount Morris, Illinois, September 4, 1859. She had been a Wapello County resident for the past 34 years. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Norvella Jacobs of Ottumwa route 5, two sons, Earl Apley of Evanston, Illinois, and Howard Apley of Ottumwa route 5. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Apley March 9, 1938; one sister and brother.
