Joe Tanton, 64 of Morgantown died suddenly on Monday Feb 15. He was the son of the John H Tanton and the late Josphine Propst-Tanton.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and a 1963 Graduate of Morgantown High School. He was employed by MPE rentals in Morgantown and belonged to the Brookhaven United Methodist Church. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Genie and two sons, John and Tim, four grandchildren, a brother Henry K. Tanton and Step-mother Betty Tanton.
