Funeral services for Mrs. Burnette Maricle will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 in Freedom Baptist Church, Plainview with Reverend Jeff James officiating. Interment will follow in Occupy # 1 Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Maricle, 80, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Rosepine Retirement Center.
She was preceded in death her husband, Shelby Maricle; her parents, Edward and Versie Moore; one brother, Buck Moore and one sister, Emma Thomas.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one daughter, Linda James of Longville; three brothers, Raymond Moore and his wife, Mattie of Union Hill, Barney Moore and his wife, Mac of Pitkin and George Moore and his wife, Valida of Herrin Illinois; one sister, Dorothy Ernest of Covington; three grandchildren, Jason James, Rhondala James and Renee Gandy; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
