Great Bend - Frank Andrasek, 56, died Tuesday at Oakley. Born Feb. 26, 1921 at Timken, he was married to Virginia Herrman June 16, 1948 at Liebenthal.

He was a mechanic and farmer and lived here since 1953. He was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church, VFW, both of Great Bend; veteran of World War II.

Survivors include the widow; daughter, Mrs. Robert Shanks, Great Bend; mother, Mrs. Matilda Andrasek, Oakley; brothers, Louis, Scott City, Bohus, Oakley, Joe, Great Bend; sisters, Mrs. Anna Griffith, Ransom, Mrs. Virgil Coffer, Brownell, Mrs. Jim Hill, Goodland, Mrs. Riney Peters, Ft. Collins, Colo.; three grandchildren.

Rosary will be 8 p.m. Thursday at Brantley-Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church; Father William Vogel. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call until serive time at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials to the church.
