Darrel F. Heiderman, 83, of Gering, died May 06, 2005 at Heritage Health Care Center in Gering. Graveside services were held May 11 at Sunset Memorial Park in Scottsbluff. Military rites were given by the Nebraska National Guard. Darrel was born Aug. 27, 1921 in Randolph, Neb. to Henry Herman and Beulah Verle (Fleming) Heiderman. He graduated from Randolph High School. He was united in marriage to Hazel Irene "Tippy" Moore, Oct. 14, 1942 in South Sioux City, Neb. He entered the Navy during WW II and served in the submarine branch. After his honorable discharge, he entered the Army and spent hitches in Iran, Turkey, Germany and various places in the States. After serving 20 years of military service he moved to Scottsbluff.
