- This appears to be confirmed by the Ohio Cemetery Records: extracted from the "Old Northwest" Genealogical Quarterly from Vol. VII (1904) page 285 that actually appears on Ohio Vital Records #2, 1750s-1880s, Broderbund (#177) regarding the "Old Burying Ground that is one mile north of Millfield, Athens County, Ohio". The following information was copied by W.V. Sprague, M.D. of Chauncey, Ohio and noted that "Capt. Solomon Tuttle, a Revolutionary soldier, is buried here, though his grave is not marked. He was born Sept 3, 1737, at Salisbury, Conn, died Nov 30, 1830. He was one of the "Green Mountain boys", and was with Col. Ethan Allen at the taking of Ticonderoga. He came to Ohio from Brandon, VT." Via internet searches, the closest cemeteries appear to be True Cemetery or Taylor Ridge Cemetery ~ hints and 'on the ground footwork' appreciated.
