The funeral of Loula J. Albertsen, 60, cashier of the Herget National bank, who died at the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago Monday night, will be held from the residence, 915 Washington street, Thursday at 2 p. m. The services will be in charge of the Rev. C. F. W. Smith of Grace Methodist Episcopal church, and commitment will be In the mausoleum at Lakeside cemetery.
Mr. Albertsen was taken to the hospital about four weeks ago, his condition from the first being critical. For the last 10 days he had been in a coma and relatives and friends were aware that there was but slight hope of his recovery.
He had been cashier of the Herget National bank for many years active In the affairs of the Assn. of Commerce, a member of Pekin lodge No. 29, A. F. and A. M., treasurer of the Union Mission fund, a member of the Tazewell club and the Pekin Country club, also of Grace Methodist Episcopal church.
He was a son of Ubbo J. and Sophia Albertsen and was born in Pekin May 8, 1870. He married Miss Louise Steinmetz in this city April 4, 1894. He is survived by his widow; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Rompel, Aurora, Mrs. D.F. Velde, Mrs. E.B. Sanborn and Mrs. W.J. Reardon, all of Pekin; three brothers, Oscar J., Urban and Robert Albertsen, all of Pekin.
