Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Jerry Scott officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Olivet Free Will Baptist Church in Marshall. Born September 30, 1914, in Wheatland, MO, she was the daughter of the late William Sterling Jones and Elizabeth Frances Robinson Jones. She had lived in Marshall since April of 1969, moving from Clinton where she attended Northeast Baptist Church. She retired from Banquet Foods in 1979 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Olivet Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Merel Corum and wife Patricia of Clinton; one grandson, Tom Corum and wife Cynthia of Carl Junction, MO; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jane Dancy of Prescott, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Earl Corum; three brothers, Samuel Lawrence Jones, Thomas Riley Jones and Elijah Cyrus Jones; and one sister, Eva Baumgarden.
